Welcome to FREEDOM CHASERS, an intermediate to advanced (and all walks in between), gifted role playing site. As with any site, rules are involved, and they need to be followed completely and utterly, or else action will always need to be taken. They are made to make your experience on FC the best that we can offer. Thanks, and have fun!

GENERAL

Alright, so first of all, you need to register with your character's name, and then go into your profile and change the name to your character's first, middle, and last name. If you need a name change, you'll be out of luck, so do it right, please. Also, don't forget to change your account's gender to your character's gender.

You need to do your application above anything! Then, you need to post in the face claim, following the other claims. DO NOT post if your application hasn't been accepted.

Please talk to us! That is what the C-BOX is for! We are very sociable here at Freedom Chasers, and we are welcoming to all new members, so don't be shy!

CHAT BOX

So, here's the deal. Don't go advertising in the C-BOX! Seriously, that is what the advertising board is for. Don't worry, people will see it if they want to, so stop forcing others to view your forum.

No fighting! Guys, really, be mature. Don't act like six year olds and fight over stupid things. I've seen and heard them enough to know that they are annoying!

Remember: Don't be shy! We LOVE to chat with you! Just make sure to follow these rules or your I.P. will be temporarily suspended. If you continue to break chat box rules, your I.P. will be permanently banned.

ROLE PLAYING

First things first, if you're not sure about your topic, PM an admin or staff member. There aren't really any restrictions on these topics except to make sure to put a label in the title if your thread needs one. Again, if you aren't sure, ask a staff member, we don't bite. Cursing is unlimited and you don't need to put a warning in the title if your character is a potty mouth.

Being a literate to advanced forum, you will be required to post a minimum of two hundred and fifty words, with correct punctuation and grammar. If you can not reach this limit, then I suggest you get up and take your leave now. Remember, the more the better! Yeah, yeah, we understand writer's block and all that jazz, but that should only take place every once in a while, 'kay?

Do not, do not, do not reply to a post that someone spent 2 hours on, and post 1 clumsy paragraph. It is very unfair, and it will be deleted by the admins. If you need more time, just put 'WIP' somewhere in your post to let your role playing partner know that you aren't finished with your post yet.

Remember, spell check! Grammar check! We are very picky people. Capitalization is one of the musts. If you need to, use a spell check or something that will tell you what is spelled correctly and what isn't. We also have a word counter for a reason! We don't mean to be nagging asses, BUT it is a pet peeve for most people. Thank you.

CHARACTERS

There is no limit on how many characters you can have, but you must put them ALL on different accounts, and they all must be active. It gets confusing for some people, even if it isn't confusing for you, so be considerate. Don't whine if the face claim you wanted is taken. We don't want to hear it. You can PM the person and ask them if they'd like a twin; otherwise you're out of luck. It isn't then end of the universe if you don't have the face you want.

No Mary-Sue's or Gary-Stue's allowed. If you don't know what these are, then it's best that you get up and leave. ALL people have flaws and your characters have them too!

ACTIVITY

Can you please, please, please stay active? We cannot stress this enough; it is okay if you have to go on vacation or something like that, but don't just disappear! Post on the leaving forum or the talk forum if you're leaving, please. We'll think you died if you don't tell us!

We will have activity checks probably every week, or maybe every two weeks, and if you don't post in the activity checks, we will delete
your account without warning. It's the rules of the game, guys!
